Sunday is now coming to a close and boy has it been a lovely sunny and warm one!

Awoke at 8am for bladder relief, tried to ignore it, but no chance, headed downstairs to see step-son having the same idea although it looked as though he had been watching a dvd in his room for at least an hour already!

No sooner had i sauntered back upstairs, hubby had now appeared from the pit and his bladder was giving him the same jip so headed in the same direction soon after.

Back to bed to enjoy some Sunday R&R and fell blissfully back to sleep until I was awoken by sister growling down phone (and shouting at the kids at the same time!!) saying that the kids had woken her at the crack of dawn to have her try to get the printer working as it had failed the previous evening!  She explained how they needed it for their homework and that M had thrown mouse across bedroom in temper and that probably didn't work now either!

Eventually talked her through the process and got it working for her again to the delight of her and the kids, happy in the knowledge that Sunday (it was now 10am) would continue with some sort of normality as she had hoped.

Hubby asked if I would like to join him and step-son swimming, wasn't keen at first given that I had only consumed ONE cup of tea (need at least five to get me going!) but decided to agree and thought it would be good to get out and relax now and again of a weekend rather than stressing over the housework blah blah.

Headed off to pool and it was soooooooooooo cold, thought about retreating after 10 minutes to the changing rooms but I realised that nobody would let me so beared with it and tried to attempt  few strokes given that I haven't swum in years!  Was quite enjoyable, chlorine in eyes stung and the smell made me want to vomit but otherwise was ok!

Step-son decided to lob his arm-bands off even though we said that it was best at this stage to keep them on and I commented to hubby how he was so unafraid of the water, it wouldn't take him long to learn.

Well..............next things we knows............the little bugger is swimming all by himself!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'd swear he was my kid the way I whooped him out of the water kissing and hugging him and telling how proud I was!!!  Think he appreciated it though, especially when hubby was quick to get in on the action too...poor bugger didnt have a chance with me cos i practically stopped the kid in his tracks I was so dumbfounded by it!!!!

Headed up to mountains then for an ice-cream, did take a pic, but have no lead at the moment so will have to post later.  Such a beautiful place it is.  Sheep shit everywhere and they pounce on you if they have the faintest idea you may have something to eat!

Lovely day all round really, am now sipping vino collapso and have back door open with pleasant evening breeze seeping through :)
